Firstly sorry for the lack of updates this week, we will be trying to get back to our regular updates as soon as possible.

Last Saturday saw us travel to Chatham Town in the league, 2 goals from Shameek Farrell and a single a piece from Jamie Humphris and Santos saw us bring all 3 points back to BR3. Next up was the London Senior Cup tie against local rivals Croydon Athletic.

Jason Huntley decided to freshen the team up for this fixture, giving all the squad the opportunity to stake a claim for a starting place. With a busy and tough schedule ahead we are going to be needing all members of the squad to perform. Unfortunately for large parts of the game we were playing second fiddle. This was after having 3 shots cleared off the line in the first minute, also the Croydon keeper pulled of a good save from a Humprhis header. The game eventually ended up 3 – 0 to Croydon after some lapse defending at the end of the game saw us concede two more goals.

Saturday 7th October was the national Non League Day and what a day it proved to be. Canterbury City came to the EPA with both sides having similar starts to the season, it was vital we came away with a win to keep our league winning run going. And so it was, Atkins got us going in the 1st minute of the match, Canterbury pulled it level on 10 minutes but Jake Britnell scored the winner on 42 minutes. The second after was goalless which meant we rose to 9th in the league.

We travel to Sutton Athletic on Saturday in the Kent Senior Trophy followed by a midweek League cup game at home to Lydd Town FC

Come on you Becks!
