Our first competitive fixture of the season ended in disappointment as we exited the FA Cup at the first hurdle. From the off Tunbridge Wells looked the better of the two sides creating a few half chances.  We took our time to find some rhythm, when we did we looked strong going forward. New signing Farrell quick turn and shot pulled a great save from the home keeper, in what would be quiet afternoon for him.

In the second half we produced a better performance but we was unable to get our first goal of this season. After Wells had scored from a corner, we went on to hit the post from a freekick, but that was as close as we come to scoring.

Now we have a week to prepare for the opening league game of the season, away to Hollands & Blair. After going out of the cup yesterday, we will be looking to get our first 3 points of the season on the road.
