During a season there’s always a point which appears likely to define its ultimate outcome. Becks have reached a defining moment in their season – certainly as far as cup competitions are concerned. Tomorrow’s Kent Reliance Senior Trophy match against Sevenoaks Town is the first of three critical cup games which will go a long way towards shaping Becks season.

After the dust has settled on Saturday’s match, Becks face Lancing next weekend in the First Round of the Buildbase FA Vase. The two sides have already met twice this season in the Emirates FA Cup Becks winning a replay after a 1-1 draw at Eden Park Avenue.

Becks will have very little time to recover from their Vase exploits as they are scheduled to face Ryman League Met Police at Imber Court on the following Tuesday evening in the London Senior Cup. The winners will be rewarded with a plumb home tie against Hendon.

Becks boss Jason Huntley’s squad has been struggling to find any sort of consistency with scoring goals being a major problem. The next few weeks will go a long way towards testing the team’s strength and desire and there will be little margin for any slip ups
