Last night Archie Johnson grabbed himself a brace while skipper for the night Adam Wadmore tapped home from close range to seal the points.

Johnson who was moved to left back for the night due to regular captain George Benner being ill scored for the 2nd time in a week, after conceding on 5 minutes to a move down our right hand side, Johnson lobbed a header from 15 yards back towards goal, where he got a helping hand from the home keeper as he tipped the ball into the back of the net.

His second of the evening was  sweet strike. The ball worked its way out to the right edge of the box, Johnson struck towards goal and after going through a crowd of bodies we were 2 – 1 ahead.

To round the evening off, the very vocal Wadmore found himself in the right place as Branco whipped in a low freekick, Humphris flicked the ball on, Atkins had a stab at it, then Wadmore made sure the ball didn’t miss the target. 3 – 1 game over and a well earned 3 points on the road.

Next up we are at home to Whitstable on Saturday at the EPA, thank you to all the travelling fans yesterday.
