PLAYED TWO ... WON TWO

The weather may only have allowed Becks to play twice in 2010 but nevertheless it's two wins out of two.

It was a miserable end to 2009 but  Becks appeared refreshed from their enforced break and in both their recent performances against Holmesdale and Erith Town they have shown positive indications of a return to something like their early season form.

Becks were due to face Sevenoaks Town on Saturday but that was postponed as a result of Sevenoaks having to fulfil an outstanding Kent Senior Trophy tie. Becks, anxious to keep playing now that the weather has returned to normality, have hastily brought forward their home League game against Sporting Bengal Utd. The two sides have already met twice this season in the League Cup - Becks winning 3-1 at the Mile End Stadium, and 6-1 at Eden Park Avenue.

Becks having started playing now don't seem able to stop! In a busy seven day period, they face their third game on Monday evening with a trip to Erith Town in the second leg of the Quarter Final of the League Cup where they hold a two goal advantage from the first leg.
